VIDEO : NYC Freedom Tower Skydiver Jump

Three daredevils, along with their lookout, pulled off a breathtaking jump from the Freedom Tower in New York City, and the jump was documented in a daredevil YouTube video shot at night, The New York Daily News reported.

By jumping from the top of the Freedom Tower, the stunt men engaged in what is referred to as B.A.S.E. jumping, a risky sport where "participants jump from fixed objects and use a parachute to break their fall," according to Wikipedia. B.A.S.E. is an "acronym that stands for four categories of fixed objects from which one can jump: building, antenna, span, and Earth (cliff)."

The comments to the YouTube video ranged from excitable "Wow's" to shaming the daredevils. "Perhaps it would have been wise to take into account that you did this on the SAME grounds many poor souls as well jumped, as it was not for their enjoyment," one commenter wrote.

WATCH : WSJ Video Explains Possible Sabotage To Malaysia Airlines MH370, Conceivably Highjacked, CBS Reports

Malaysia Air MH370: Possible Sabotage to Communications System, Explained

After the jet's transponder was disabled, the communications systems on Flight 370 were cut off by "deliberate action," said Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak. U.S. officials are investigating whether a third system, on the plane's lower deck, was also compromised, The Wall Street Journal's Jason Bellini explains in this YouTube video.

Flight 370 disappeared one week ago while carrying 239 people from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing, China.

As the investigation turns to identifying criminal responsibility for the missing flight, will the U.S. government focus on the spectacular intelligence failure that appears to allow airplanes to remain vulnerable to criminality over a decade since the Sept. 11 attacks and susceptible to going missing almost five years since the 2009 accident that befell Air France Flight 447 over the Atlantic Ocean ?

For the U.S. government, which is caught up in a controversy over the indiscriminate dragnet surveillance by the National Security Administration, the blind spots in aviation safety patterns recent blind spots in foreign policy risks, such as the Russian takeover of Crimea. These blind spots are proof that real threats are not being assessed while the N.S.A. is wholly consumed with the distraction of dragnet surveillance -- a dangerous situation about which civil libertarians and journalists had warned would happen as a result of the Obama administrations's faulty obsession with collecting Internet data.

Shih Tzu blood-curdling scream when his name is called

A Shih Tzu dog named Cody screams out loud when his name is called.

Poor puppy. How'd it come for him to react that way ? Unless the puppy thinks that when his name is called, it is a form of howling ? And the puppy must be howling back ?

This is one pet video that certainly is not the same as all the other cute videos on YouTube.

Vladimir Putin Violent Anti-LGBT Crackdown Mockumentary Facebook Movie Going Viral

The parody video, styled on the recent spree of data-mining movies that Facebook has been pushing to promote its 10 year anniversary, shows dramatic images of anti-LGBT violence in Russia under its president, Vladimir Putin.

The video says that President Putin joined Facebook in 1975, an impossible feat, but not impossible if the Russian president is advancing propaganda. Interspersed with official-looking photographs, like of the Russian president signing decrees, are depictions of state-sponsored violence of LGBT Russians. Whereas authentic Facebook movies end with the iconic Facebook like button of the "thumbs up" facing upwards, the Putin parody video ends with the "like button" turned upside-down, expressing growing worldwide dissent on Russia's draconian enforcement of its anti-LGBT law.

This latest video adds to the growing digital backlash from LGBT and ally activists playing out on social media now during the Sochi Winter Olympics.

"Putin" protest song by Dolly Bellefleur adds to global LGBT YouTube campaign against Russia's violent anti-LGBT crackdown

The performer Dolly Bellefleur sang a protest song "Putin" in Amsterdam last year mocking the violent anti-LGBT crackdown taking place in Russia. The song, with lyrics set to the music from the hit song "Rasputin" by the world-famous European band Boney M, substitutes Putin for Rasputin using some clever turns of phrases. Nobody can bring ingenuity and creativity to protest songs like the LGBT community.

Ever since Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a violent anti-LGBT crackdown in Russia, LGBT activists have been staging protests world-wide in the time leading up to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

I think some santorum is leaking out of Vladimir Putin's Sochi !

A musical act calling itself "Potpourri of Pearls" has released a song and an accompanying music video that sets to appropriate a gay sex definition to the term "Sochi," the Russian resort town site of the controversial Winter Olympics. Makers of the music video apparently hope to bring media attention to the violent anti-LGBT crackdown taking place in Russia under President Vladimir Putin in a fashion similar to how LGBT activists used the Internet in a neologism campaign to appropriate a new meaning to the word "Santorum," the latter in an effort of Internet protest against anti-LGBT bigot Rick Santorum, the former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania.

Makers of the video now hope to redefine the name of the host Olympics city as :

Sochi (sô′chĭ) n. A delightful anus v. To do butt sex

Mother Russia : Anti-LGBT Crackdown Parody Musical Video

Dimitri and Mikhail, two Russians, narrate a hilarious musical parody of the violent anti-LGBT crackdown in Russia. The video is going viral, and it lampoons the Sochi Olympics, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and even Russia's macho national sport : ballet.

WATCH ON DROPBOX : Bill de Blasio Bill Bratton Stop and Frisk Hypocrisy

Did Bill de Blasio put up his son Dante to lie to voters about ending the "stop-and-frisk era" ?

Did Bill de Blasio put up his son Dante to lie to voters about ending the stop-and-frisk era ?

After Bill de Blasio barely won the Democratic primary with about 40 percent of the vote, top aide to Christine Quinn complained about a controversial TV advertisement broadcast by the de Blasio campaign, featuring his son, Dante.

"That ad killed us," the Quinn aide groused, anonymously, to The Daily Beast.

“He’s the only Democrat with the guts to really break from the Bloomberg years,” Dante promised in the TV commercial, adding, "And he is the only one who will end a stop-and-frisk era that unfairly targets people of color."

The controversial de Blasio campaign ad featuring his son, Dante, was widely reported to be one factor that helped his campaign surge following the implosions of the Quinn and Anthony Weiner campaigns. But now that de Blasio has appointed Bill Bratton to become the next NYPD commish, critics question the promises made by de Blasio -- and his son -- that de Blasio would end the "stop-and-frisk era."

Bratton shot up to fame by driving down crime based on his "reliance on 'stop-and-frisk,' in which officers detain individuals they deem to be suspicious and search them for guns, and which has been linked to racial profiling by critics," reported KQED News.

This Heartwarming Mobile Phone Commercial From Thailand Will Make You Cry

A new YouTube video, said to be for Thailand‘s mobile phone operator TrueMove H, of a TV commercial, is intensely moving, and it is being shared all over Facebook. It "will probably make you cry, so make sure you get your tissues ready," wrote the Web site Daily Picks and Flicks.

People are trying to identify the commercial's director, because many Facebook comments suggest that this TV commercial has greater sensibilities than many Hollywood movies made nowadays.
